A day in the Central Coast - Terrigal, Tascott and Avoca

How I got there: Central Coast is best accessible by a car, because you get to drive past cute little coastal villages. My friends and I drove to Central Coast and stayed the night at Tascott.

Total duration: The drive is around 1.5 hours from Western Sydney, and we spent a day here.

Traffic light for children: Green

About the place: There are a lot of things to do in Central Coast, the scene is pretty much dining in a cafe by the beach and visiting the nearby beaches.

Avoca Beach

A lovely place to stop by for breakfast is the Point Cafe. This Beach Cafe has lovely views of the Avoca Beach and is dog friendly! The breakfast was fairly good and what other way to spend a sunny Saturday than watch the waves roaring past you while you sip on lemon and lime bitters and have an Avo toast?

Terrigal

Terrigal is a sweet little village in Central Coast with plenty of things to do. We had lunch in Cove Cafe, and again, this has got amazing views of the beach!

What struck me here is the greens and blues that you see! On one hand you have the lovely ocean, and on the other hand you have lush green surroundings. There is a lookout at the top of The Skillion in Terrigal, which has 360 degree views of the ocean. You have to do a short walk up the hill to get here and from the top, you can see the lovely greens and blues here which form a lovely amalgamation. You can easily spend a couple of hours just chilling here by the beach or on top of the look out.

Tascott

Tascott is a suburb in the central coast region, and this has really good Airbnb stays. We stayed the night here and had a private jetty to ourselves. Having this view, made up for the slightly pricey Airbnb price. I have never stayed in a place where I had a private jetty all to myself. Early morning sunrise was amazing from here and so was just sitting by the jetty and staring into the waters while sipping on some homemade cocktails!
