How I got there: We drove to this winery on a cloudy Wednesday afternoon from Western Sydney and it was about an hour's drive to this beautiful place in the Southern Highlands Region.

About the place: This is one of the best Southern Highlands wineries that I've been to. Apart from wine tasting, the food is also amazing here. We had a trio dips platter which was really tasty and went well with our selection of wines. There is a good collection of local produce like jams and pickles sold in the winery and the views from the wine tasting area are lovely, as they overlook hectares of vineyards.
The wine tasting costs $5 for your choice of 6 wines. I really liked their merlot and their dessert wine. You can know quality wine when you taste it, and these wines brimmed of quality. I have been here several times and really like walking in the grounds. We spotted some kangaroos in here this time, who had come out to have a drink in the little pond. What better way to spend cloudy days than some wine and cheese, I ask?
