Byron Bay is famous for vegan restaurants and acai bowls and you sure do get sucked into the deliciousness of it all. I am a vegetarian by nature and trying to cut down on dairy, so this was like food heaven for me! On the main Byron strip, you find delicious acai bowl parlors and vegan restaurants, here are my personal favourites.
Pure Melt Chocolate Shop

Although Mullum is about 20-30 minutes drive away from Byron, this place was exquisite! The acai bowl that I had here was soft and filled with delicious layers of fruit and homemade granola. There is also an amazing range of chocolates to choose from!
Yullis

This vegan restaurant is there even in Sydney. The presentation of food is so amazing here! This place gets booked out pretty early, so make sure that you make those reservations before going here!

A very hip place with a delicious selection of pastas and good teas. The food fells light and this place is set in a very green environment, with lots of plants and decorated really well.
