How I got there: Centennial Vineyards is situated in Bowral, which is around 1.5 hours away from Sydney
Official Website:
About the place: Bowral is a very green town in the Southern Highlands. I believe I have spoken so much about how Southern Highlands is one of my favourite non-beach places in NSW and Centennial Vineyards precisely reflects why! Its SOOO green! On a cloudy day, I was like – WOOOOW when I went there! None of my photos in this post are edited or filtered and you can see for yourselves how green the grass looks and how blue the skies! There is an incredible selection of wines to choose and taste from, you can select up to 10 wines and the setup is very rustic and country like, and you can see the barrels of wine laid neatly in the wine tasting area, which makes for amazing photos! You can also buy peanut brittle in here and they are oh so tasty! The first thing you get to notice here is - how very professional the entire experience is. You can’t walk around in the vineyards itself, but you can walk around in the gardens and stroll away to glory.
There is also a restaurant here which offers a mixture of Asian and Western flavours with the produce sourced from Southern Highlands. We had lunch here and the dishes were ever so flavourful. Just sitting in the restaurant opposite the vast expanse of green vineyards and trees is totally worth the trip to Bowral and makes for a luxe getaway! And the desserts are also really tasty here, they look very fancy as you can see in the pictures and are just as tasty! Do the entire wine and dine experience here and you can easily spend a day in here.
