Coogee Beach on a Friday Evening

How I got there: I went to Coogee Beach from Central Station. From Central Station, I took a bus to Coogee Beach on a Friday evening at around 5 PM during summer.

Total duration: I spent about 2-3 hours on this beach.

Traffic light for children: Green

About the place: Coogee beach is one of the iconic beaches of Sydney. The only time I had been to Coogee was when I did the Bondi to Coogee walk. This was the first time I went there just to spend time at the beach. I love beaches and the sea, and I love playing with the waves. There is also a swimming pool here in front of the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club. The swimming pool looks very green but be careful not to jump into the pool from the edges as the bottom can be rocky. I swam in the swimming pool for some time with my friends before delving straight into the ocean. After the swim, we sat near the beach on the stage and listened to a lovely artist singing and then there was a fire show. The stage is beautifully set with the ocean dancing behind and houses more than 200 people and usually has lives shows in the evening.
