Hyams Beach - Jervis Bay

How I got there: Jervis Bay is a three-hour drive from Sydney, and we drove to Hyams beach and did the While Sands Walk here and visited the Boodaree National Park.

Total duration: Easily, you can spend 2-3 days here, we have been here many times and it is one of our most favourite places to holiday.

Traffic light for children: Green

About the place: This is hands down, the best beach in Australia. Whitest sand in the world! Blue Ocean! Seaside towns! It is so picturesque and as you walk down the sand, your feet feel like they are walking on smooth flour. The texture of the sand is that smooth!

You can walk around here in Hyams beach or just drive to the start of the White Sands Walk, which passes through back waters and gum trees! Wriggly gum trees are incredibly famous here. As you walk down the path, you can see different shades of blues and greens of the ocean and the light dancing through the trees makes for a wonderful sight. We also went to the cave beach in Boodaree National Park. There are many kangaroos and wallabies here and the cave beach itself is so enthralling with a splendid naturally carved cave that you can go inside and take a picture-perfect Instagram photo in! The photos do no justice to this place!
