How I got there: My husband and I drove to Berrima from Western Sydney and spend a night in the Lochanside Estate, which was a beautiful romantic getaway for us.
Total duration: The drive takes about 1.5 - 2 hours from Western Sydney and it is amazing to just spend leisure time in a beautiful estate before stepping out to explore the town on foot.

About the place: If you are driving to Berrima, you must stay in one of the estates that are here. This particular estate blew our minds away. Lush green surroundings and beautiful horses nearby in the estate gave it the perfect country charm. There was also a beautiful lake in this estate where we could take a walk. I loved waking up to the view, gave me the feeling that I was in a beautiful Inn. If you are a fan of Gilmore Girls, I felt like I spend a night at the Dragonfly Inn! I also loved my reading spot, which overlooked serene trees and birds from my cottage room. The cottage was well equipped with food, with an extremely comfortable bed and with such an old rusty look about it, that it sure took me back in time!
