My New Zealand Story - South Island

New Zealand! Oh! your beauty! Ever since I saw the posters and pictures of New Zealand, it was a dream to visit it! So close to Australia! I love vacationing with my parents because they are such fun people. They always tease each other, are goofy and love to laugh and I really wanted to spend some time with them. And that was when I suggested that we should vacation here! They fly in from India and we Australia, we vacation, and they get back to India and us (my husband and I), Australia. It of course required a lot of planning, managing of expenses and working out the best option. It worked out perfectly and we went here in April, during Easter holidays of 2019. It was a pre-planned trip, almost 6 months in advance, lots of planning and preparing to go here. One of my work colleagues who is from New Zealand helped me plan the itinerary. One week, road trip on the South Island! Talk to locals to get to go to amazing places and get to know where you can save on money!
