Southern Highlands Winery, NSW

How I got there: We drove to this winery on a cloudy and cold almost-winter-but-not-yet afternoon from Sydney and it was about 1.5 hours’ drive to this beautiful winery in the Southern Highlands Region.

About the place: Since we drove here in the beginning of May, the autumn colours were still around the beautiful drive from Sydney. We could see brilliant red, yellow, purple-coloured trees and it was a sight to the eyes! This beautiful winery is spread across acres and also had colourful autumn colours. The winery is particularly good, and the wine tasting is free!

The best part is that it is one of those places where you can have a nice meal as the winery has a restaurant onsite and it is also a wedding venue. It sure is the perfect winter get away. I enjoyed having pasta here and the bar sure has some unique décor as there was a bike in the middle of the bar which looked very rustic and quirky. Overall, the vibe was very chilled, and I had a great day out here with my friends and family.
