Leura is situated in the Blue Mountains Region, a short drive after Katoomba, easily accessible by train, just a 1.5 hours away from Sydney. It is beautiful for shopping on a sunny day. There are just two lanes for shopping but the shops are extremely unique, personal and bring in the most authentic Australian experience ever! There are also really nice cafes where you can stop by for a nice cup of coffee. The train journey is also very scenic as you travel across mountains and the gum trees. I would recommend just going here for half a day when you are in the mood for a lazy day out with your friends, you don't want to travel too far away from Sydney and want to have a wonderful experience!
